Firehouse Espresso Cafe Now Open

Firehouse Espresso Cafe has opened at 140 East Main Street in Downtown Rock Hill.  Located on the ground floor of City Plaza, the Cafe is the latest addition to a growing downtown retail and restaurant roster.

Michael Sadaitis and Tim Sullivan opened Firehouse Espresso Cafe to serve the downtown employment base, families from Rock Hill and surrounding areas, and visitors.  The cafe is open daily beginning at 7 a.m. and closing at 9:00 p.m.

The restaurant is decorated with a growing collection of fire-fighting related items from fair and wide.  Local firefighters have already donated patches, a fire suit, and other items.  "We're excited to be in Downtown Rock Hill," said Firehouse Espresso Cafe owner Time Sullivan.  "Our location at City Plaza is ready-made for this type of restaurant."

"The restaurant is centrally located, and there's plenty of parking and great pedestrian access off Main Street and Elk Avenue," said David Lawrence, Rock Hill's Downtown Development Manager.

This concept is a second restaurant for Sullivan who also owns and operates a Firehouse Espresso Cafe in Albemarle, NC.  The Cafe's menu features fresh coffee, bagels, muffins, cookies, pies, cheesecakes, soups, salads, sandwiches, milkshakes, lemonades, and specialty drinks.  Only Boars Head Deli products are used in the Cafe, and are also available by the pound.

Firehouse Cafe management is searching for local talent to provide entertainment at select times during the week.  "We want to entertain people and draw them to Downtown Rock Hill, and we encourage people to frequent not only Firehouse Espresso Cafe but all the other retail, restaurant, and gallery spaces here," Sullivan concluded.  Those interested in providing entertainment should contact Tim Sullivan at 803-327-4466.
