Renovations will begin this month, August, on the newest restaurant to arrive in Downtown Rock Hill.  The Citizen Corner Restaurant, owned and managed by Mr. Hall Dozier, will be located on the ground floor of The Citizen Building.  The Citizen Building is located at the corner of East Main Street and Caldwell Street in the heart of downtown.  The restaurant will feature upscale southern cuisine.  Downtown merchants, office tenants, and the City of Rock Hill are pleased to have this new restaurant coming later this year.

This restaurant will be Mr. Dozier's second operation in Rock Hill; he owns and operates Moe's Southwest Grill in Manchester Village.  The McAllister Group of Charlotte, NC will be completing the significant building renovations.  The restaurant should be open in late fall.  Provident Community Bank has provided financing on the project.  The Citizen Building is owned and managed by Barwick and Associates, LLC of Charlotte, NC.  The project was aided through the City of Rock Hill's DowntownNow and Jumpstart Main Street retail/restaurant incentive programs.
